Organizations and companies whose employees communicate with federal public office holders about legislation, regulations, policy, programs, contracts or funding, above a threshold of time spent. Registrations and monthly communication reports are filed with the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying.

Yes. Each monthly communication report names the designated public office holder, their institution, the month of the communication and the subject matters raised. Every official on the register has their own page listing who reported meeting them.

Communications are reported by the fifteenth of the following month, so a meeting becomes public some weeks after it happens. Each record here carries both the month of the communication and the date it was posted.

No. The register records that a communication was reported and what subject it covered. It carries no account of what was said, what was asked for, or what followed.
